The Old Town Bed and Breakfast Inn is Eureka's first B&B, originally opened for business in 1985. The Greek-revival style building constructed of virgin Redwood and Douglas fir has been completely restored and modernized, and it now offers guests the warm hospitality expected of a bygone era.
The seaport village of Old Town Eureka grew up around this significant historic building. Located just one block from the bluffs overlooking the Eureka Channel of Humboldt Bay, the Inn now sits in a neighborhood growing with professional offices, restaurants, and multi-family structures adjacent to Highway 101. The Carson Mansion, the new Humboldt County Library (an architectural masterpiece!), and the waterfront Adorni Community Center are just steps away from the Inn.
Amidst period paint and wallpapers, the Inn's decor feature family antiques, silver and china, interesting collections, and heirloom quilts. All rooms have a TV/VCR, and guests are encouraged to borrow from the owners' extensive movie collection.
The goal of the Old Town Bed and Breakfast Inn is to make your stay an enjoyable one, and maybe we'll see you soon in beautiful Eureka!
